My Moment of Peace. 
it was nice sitting there by the lake for a while  watching the waves lick the shoreline.  my gaze rose from the waves to the horizon  ..after what seemed an eternity.  that's where i saw the oranges and purples  of the setting sun just before it started to slip  behind vaguely visible hills in the far-off distance.  the thoughts and wonders that usually raced my mind  came to an earth-shattering halt, and finally..  i had a moment of peace  i wished the moment lingered just a little longer  for reality came crashing back just as the waves  
would beat into the shore.  i My Moment of Peace.
